How to Maximize Your Windows Vista Experience

You have installed Windows Vista or Windows Vista Upgrade. Now What? These simple steps will help you customize your computer

Steps

1. 

   The personalize option
   Change the background (right click-> personalize-> Background)
2. Change the color-------( color)
3. 

   A customized Sidebar
   Change the Sidebar- find gadgets that you like/ need. This can be done by simply pressing the "+" button at the top of the sidebar. To customize individual gadgets, just roll the mouse over them and click the little wrench with appears on the righthand side. If you are not satisfied with the gadgets Windows provides there is a large list here. Gadget Gallery
4. 

   A customized quicklaunch
   Add a quick launch (right click taskbar-> toolbars-> quick launch), cut and paste, or drag, shortcuts into the space to add them to the quick launch. Resize by dragging the small dotted edge of the toolbar (this also moves it)
5. Stay on the lookout for convienient shortcuts and things that could help you use the computer
